Join us in May as former rock journalist talks with Jane Rawson about My rock ‘n’ roll friend, Tracey Thorn’s memoir of her relationship with Go-Betweens drummer Lindy Morrison. This exploration of female friendship and women in music, from the iconic singer-songwriter and bestselling author, ‘asks what people see, who does the looking, and ultimately who writes women out of – and back into – history’.

Liz Evans is a journalist, author, psychotherapist, educator and researcher. She ran a private practice in southern Tasmania for almost ten years, publishing several academic papers on ecofeminism, ecopsychology, and Jungian theory. She has written two books on women and rock culture, and in 2024 published her debut novel, Catherine Wheel.
