What writers read

We reckon 2025 went well enough to give it another crack next year.

WWR kicked off in May 2025, when Kate Kruimink discussed Anna Dusk’s novel, ‘In-Human’. In June, Robbie Arnott talked about Kathryn Scanlan’s ‘Kick the latch’. July was Matthew Lamb with Albert Camus’ ‘The myth of Sisyphus’. In August, Maggie Mackellar avoided talking about Geoff Dyer’s ‘Out of sheer rage’, and in September we had our first graphic novel, with Joshua Santospirito discussing Lee Lai’s ‘Cannon’. In October, Adam Ouston picked a Booker winner, pulling apart David Szalay’s ‘Flesh’, and in November we wrapped things up with Pete Hay’s selection of Samuel Johnson’s ‘The history of Rasselas, Prince of Abissinia’.
